This page covers how to troubleshoot HTTP errors returned from the Modular Cloud API. If any issue persists, contact us.

401 Unauthorized

A 401 response means the API couldn’t authenticate your request.

403 Forbidden

A 403 response means the request isn’t authorized for the resource or action.

429 Too Many Requests

A 429 response means your organization has exceeded a rate limit. If you’re consistently hitting limits:
  • New organizations can add a payment method to upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 (increased rate limits).
  • If you need higher than Tier 2 limits, contact us about Enterprise plans.
