def shmem_g[dtype: DType](source: Pointer[Scalar[dtype], _safe=False], pe: Int32) -> Scalar[dtype]

Copies one data item from a remote PE.

Very low latency get capability for single elements.

Args:

source (Pointer[Scalar[dtype], _safe=False]): Symmetric address of the source data object.
pe (Int32): PE number of the remote PE on which source resides relative to the team associated with the given device context.

Returns:

Scalar[dtype]: A single element of dtype.
